beef hart
you mean feeding beef heart to get him to grow? if he didn't grow even a bit in more then a year I don't think beef heart will help.
Maybe I should also mention that he lost a lot of color, the picture I posted was an old one, right now he is more grey looking.

I had the exact same problem with my male GT, but he died last month! Turns out he had worms. I over looked the problem that he wasn't growing or eating very much and wish I had treated him. Get her treated asap!

I'm not really into medicines, what kind of medicine do I get to treat worms?

for parasites, jungle parasite clear is a great medicine that is very gentle on the fish, and i would do all three treatments instead of just 2 just to make sure

Photo of the fish looks to be female. You can't tell a fish's age by looking at it. It could be past its steady growing stage already if it's not growing much. Some will slow down thereafter, some will stop. GTs have more substantial growth there first two years. Some will have an extended growth spurt at three years.

Yes I read about jungle parasite a lot on MFK, but I believe they don't sell it in Holland, so I'll look for something else to cure parasites. Thx.

I have the same problem, I've had my female GT for over a year and she seems to have stopped growing and she's about 4'' and she's laid eggs. She eats alot and is always fat, but she doesn't seem to grow.
