I am currently feeding my fish a variety: HBH Cichlid ATTACK! which has spirulina to help fight of parasites, frozen brine shrimp, and freezed dried beef heart. The main thing is to have a variety in their diet. Make sure to stay away from buying any cheape foods, your fish will love you for it. Its not a knock against Wardleys or Tetra, but there way better pellet foods out there.

Do you have how long My GT can stay with the parasit? because I will not receive the Med before friday.... and its already doing a week or too that he is sick.

If your LFS is close by, go buy get some parasite remover tank buddies or something with the ingredient you are looking for (Metronidazole)

?? do you use fresh garlic directly to the tank?

No i have not, i would look for vegiie flake or pellet food that has it in it. Although, there are recipes for making food for cichlids that u can use fresh garlic in.

To follow the GT sickness I place the medication this morning in the tank so 1200 mg of metronidazole.
