green terror laid eggs

All I have to put them in is a 10 gal. Can I just put the female in there?

I woke up this morning and most of the eggs were gone! There are a few left, but most are gone.

The parents will eat the eggs if they think other fish might get to them. I personlly don't like mixed fish, but that is up to you. try and get the opposite sex of the green terror and watch them mate! now that would be cool. or get a mate for the convict (or both) they breed faster than rabbits!

Would it be alright to put the two into a 10 gal to breed? the convict is about 5" and the green terror is about 3.5"

and if none of the eggs survive, how long will it take them to do it again?
