Very, very interested. If you can get us pics of a 16-17" Green Terror next to a tape measure, you'll forever be "The Man"!! :cool-1:

so a 125 would not sufice for a few of these?

I think you could put a few in there. It's ultimately going to come down to the individual GT's personalties though. Are you wanting to breed them or just have a multiple GT species only tank?

Also you must realize that these are slower growers than your normal tank busters. Should take about 3 years before you get a big ol boy, if not longer.

That would be awesome!! Pics please. I've known other people from that part of the world and never has anyone else mentioned that they grow 5-7" bigger than average in the wild. I can't even imagine a Green Terror that's 70% bigger than mine. Could he possibly over-estimating the size? If a 17" Green Terror exists, I'll have to see it to believe it.

Nature can provide better gene pool and nutrients than we could ever provide not to mention time to grow. Not too many people keep old old fish like you'll find in the wild.

You'll have to wait for pics of the GT's from him. But I know Josh caught a 16" RD down in FL, so it's possible. And the max size for a fish like dovii is 28-30" but realistically you'll never get one in a home aquaria close to that. There are many fish that don't grow as big in aquaria as they do in the wild. Whether it's gene pool, nutirients or again able to find older fish in the wild. That's all I'm saying.

ive had my GT for over a year and a half and i am pretty damn sure its maxed out at 4 inces!!!!!!!!!! its a female and she will not grow!!!

I did not plan on breeding.only a few huh. What would you guys recomend doing in my 125.I realy like the gt s but i dont want alot of fights.Just like 4 or 5 of something that gets ok size. would a ton of jds just kill each other.Damn those gts are just killer though.

You could start out with more when they're juvies. Be prepared though as they start growing larger that you'll have to sell some off. Keep in mind too that if you keep a bunch of juvie GT's in a tank together, you'll most likely breed whether it's in your plans or not. lol
