I never thought i would be so lucky to have a pair of green terrors ..bought one from one place and the other from another place..approx. the same size.. and tried them in a 55 gal tank by them selves.. one is about 2 inches and the other is 2 and half inches.. and the female just had eggs.. they are going strong because they have not fungused.. i was so surprised that Terrors could mature this young.. now will they continue through out their life to be a breeding pair or could they turn on each other in the future??

that is awesome and extremely lucky. very seldom can you actually get a breeding pair by just getting two fish unless they are convicts. LOL anyway, I'm also a bit surprised that they spawned that young. let us know what happens and if the eggs hatch. once they've formed the pair bond, they should continue to spawn unless something in their environment changes (like moving them to a different tank, severe sudden change in water quality/parameters, adding new tankmates, etc). I would keep an eye as they get bigger because as they get bigger the amount of space they'll want will grow. I would think that in a 55 gallon with just the 2 of them that they should be ok, but the male may decide one day that he'd like a little more space and he could turn on the female. Just keep an eye on them and see how they do but imo they should be fine. :)

Thats's amazing they are breeding so young. Keep us updated with the babies.

Thanks for all your Information.. the eggs are still looking absolutely perfect!! {still in shock} My husbands been breeding Angels for years.. and never got this lucky to have all the eggs look fungus free etc. Well another 3 or 4 days and i will know for sure when they wiggle.. i will definitly let everyone know and have pictures too..{I am excited}

well this morning i was a little upset ... there were no eggs left on the leaf.. my first thoughts were that she ate them.... but WAY TO GO... My husband spotted the wigglers moved by Mom... onto a spot in the gravel...she won't let Dad near them... it appears this will be a small amount of babies {60-70} since she is just a baby herself... will let you know when and if they are free swimming... excited!!
