yes they are about 3 inches now.. i found out through researching that there are no dwaft species in Green Terrors.. glad to hear this.. i was getting a little worried .. not use to being so lucky to have a young pair already breeding..
my pair bred when the male was like 3.5 in and the female was 2.5 maybe, i didn't think that it was possible, but it is. same thing happened to me when my fish had babies, but i thought it was the catfish that ate the fry.
Are you going to breed for babies again? I hope so,,, I would say it was probably the dad who ate them... maybe the catfish would later on as they swam near him.. but i think Dad actually picks them off because Mom will not let Dad near..and he gets frustrated.. be interesting what happens next time. How big are your Terrors now?
I am happy to announce again that we have about 60 free swimming baby Green Terrors in this 2nd batch.. we took the male out and maybe possibly we will take the female out too..but all is well right now...yippee!!!!!!!!!! I will let you know how things progress.. great mating pair though..extremely lucky..
