Green Terrors...HaHa

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Probably gonna get a 6' by 2'.
I picked up the Royal for 50 bucks from a store just south of Boston and he is about 6" or 7". Awsome fish the color is alot more intense than the saum I had before. He is very active and eats like a pig. I hopefully will be able to grow him out to be a monster.

How big is your terror this is about terrors. I just got a 125 got to set it up and my terror is going in there. How easy is it to keep the sand clean>?

it's easy. I use just the hose part of the Python and when I am filling the tank up I just use it like a leaf blower and kick up the crap on the bottom and let the filter do the work.

Is your pair kept by themselves?

I keep them together but with a screen between them because right now do not want them to breed until they fatten up and get healthy since the babies.. break time.

Here's a few more shots of the mix.

I do not know about this mixture of fish..but your fish and tank looks great. And I love the Frontosa!

What makes him royal?

They are selectively bred and have much more vibrant colors. You can't tell in photos but in person there is a big difference. They usually have longer fins. You usually can't see too big of a difference between the Royals and regular saums until they get around the size of my guy. When they are full grown they look amazing.

Thanks. I know it's a weird mix but it is working for me for now. My front is cool because he is not timid at all, never hides and I think that's why I am able to get away with it.
