Green terrors or Jack dempseys questions

I think the point everyone is trying to make is that 2 GTs or 2 JDs at the size of 2" will not do well for an extended amount oftime in such a very small tank. They will be fine for a couple of months. It all depends on how long it will take you to get their bigger tank. Awhile to you may be two or three months or it could be in a year. This is the major concern, that and being sure that the two pairs you get are compatible and able to live for awhile in a 20 high.

I understand what you are trying to do, you just want to know which juvies to start with . . . ok, that makes sense

how big is your new "bigger tank" going to be? are you going 75G or more?

yes thank you im just trying to find the pair before i get the aquarium. yes ill be getting an aquarium over 75 gal but just incase i dont get one in time and there to big for the 20 gall, my friend has a 100+ gallon aquarium.

its not that the aquarium is to expensive, we need to finish the basement so we can put it down there.

ok . . . if there is any doubt, you'd be better off waiting . . . our plans don't always turn out the way we think

the gts and the jds at petsmart are like 6 of each kind stuck in a little like 12 gallon or less. so i would kinda be saving them. should i get a couple of angelfish and breed them instead and wait until i get a bigger aquarium.
