does anybody know a cheap way to get rid of green water?
i have a 110 gallon pond with convicts, a JD, an oscar and a pleco in it and it has some serious green water. it used to house some goldfish, but they were rehomed. i used to use "algae destroyer advanced" but it has lost its effect and now it doesnt clear the water up at all.
can somebody please recommend something to me? i hate not seeing my fish :(

Get a UV from Waimanalo Feed Store. 110 gallons is not that much. Maybe water change?

Throw a party in celebration of how easy it's going to be to feed your fry from now on.

Where is you pond standing? if it is whole day in the sunlight it will be green. UV will work. Or try give more shadow to the pond and add plants

how much are the UVs at waimanalo?
and i cant do plants because my fish just tear them apart. thanks everybody for the quick replies

Call and talk to Stan. Waimanalo is one of the only real pond supply store on the island. I lived in Pearl City and had a 100g koi tank by the window. Water would get green in about a week. Weekly water change kept it clear. Water was so good on the island that I didn't even use dechlor. If you don't want to bother with water changes then a UV would be best. You don't need a very big one for a pond that size.
You can also check out my friend Taro at Kodama Koi Farm in Mililani. Not sure if they sell UV.
