Iv seen fishing shows when they caught n eaten wild pacu and they are considered very good eating in some countries .
I don't think eating an aquarium fish would be very healthy, with all the water treatment chemicals used.
What kind of water do you think the fish you eat at a restaurant come from ? There are chemicals in the kitchen aquarium, the lakes, streams and oceans and some real nasty stuff on top of that. Prime would be the least of your worries that and traces of prime are gone within a 24 hours I believe. Give the Pacu a good washing then fry that bad boy, same goes for the dog, they eat dog meat in some countries. America is the only country that let's food go to waste.
i agree, it is not a good idea to eat it. most of the medications and other chemicals state that on their labels "not for fish meant for consumption"
