Group of tetras?

Thinking of getting a large group of tetras, looking for a species that maxes out at around 2-2.5 inches and schools well. What’s everyone’s suggestion or what’s your favorite ? This stock will be for my current 125g setup

Rummy nose Tetra are tight schooler, but they max out under 2 inch.

Black skirt Tetra meet the OP size criterion, but they are shoaler, not schooler. Their color is too plain to me. How about getting some Glo skirt tetra.

I've had plenty of rummies reach 2 inches, but maybe mine have been abnormally large.

Lemon tetras are my favorite. I know barbs are not what your asking but I love tiger barbs also

if you can find them, emperor tetras are very nice.

Emperor tetra are nice and bulky, and can reach 2 to 2.5 inch. Matured males are territorial, and fight among themselves a lot. Most Tetra are shoaler, not schooler, and can be territorial at maturity. Bloodfin and Rummy nose Tetra are the exception that continue to school tightly, but they are at or below 2” at maturity.
