Ok Guys I Have Been getting into the whole full marine thing recently since i got me 2 gsp's and a moray. So i was at the LFS and i saw a Strawberry Grouper that looked stunning.

so my question is what is the most Stunning Grouper you have seen and that would be easy to Get.

Thanks a bunch.

blue devil grouper , most stunning by far , but 500 dollars plus....

Bearded , or clown grouper are really cool... and quite common.

Miniatus , smaller max out at 16 inches but really bulk up like a linebacker and have the atitude of one.

My bumblebee is the ****!

strawberry is like the baby grouper .... if that interestes you seriously look at other groupers.

DA/V\!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! welp its on now i have to get a bad azz grouper.

sounds like a plan tank requierments? and tank mates??

alright so the average maxes out at 12inches. But i have seen bigger, though you should be fine with a 150 at full grown. Use your head if you buy a small one you know what you should keep it in. Be sure to see fit for the right size and according to your budget make it the biggest possible. I know this is hard thats why requirements are made. What size tank do you have? plan on putting it in?

Smaller ones dont have a big attitude, but the will gain it. Groupers seem to make friends if they live with the other fish for a bit while they are young. Tanks mates , well man i have to say its really trial and error..... but i can go by perecntages....

Best bets are:
Triggers
puffers
eels
sharks
scorpion / stonefish

Next best:
angles
bigger tangs (naso)
wrasse

then all others...... but i mean you honestly never know. It depends on your fish bro, one day it wont work , one day it will, then maybe 3 years it will kill everything ... chance you take with predators. Let me know what you have on your mind though ill help you build a good tank. Check out my thread ... massive predators in the general salt

cld u put a bumbl bee grouper and a blue devil grouper in with 2 dragon moray eels in a 600 gallon or wht wld be the tank size they wld all need. And this is not sayin imma do it but it wld look amazin for a tank combo!(if they work together)

first, you dont put the same kind of fish together , the two dragon eels would kill each other. Next the bumblebee would probly kill the blue devil and that would cost you 2,000 dollars (LFS PRICE) in dead fish..... that is not a good idea. Waste of cash

so no it wouldnt work , plus if you have had a dragon moray , they arnt really that entertaining.... i like my green alot more. The blue devil its a joke for a grouper... its just expensive.... but i think if that would work that would be a cool tank , its just that im not on the dragon eel and devil grouper bandwagon that most people are. I like REAL predators, my eel could pull a full grown man into the tank.

kk just wanderin but 1 moray and 1 bumble bee wld still be sick!
