WTF????? i was estimating, i didn't go and check!! The tank is fully cycled, if i can keep polys alive in it i should be able to keep dats alive in it as well
Apparently not yes?

Poly's are a lot hardier fish then small dats yes?

(Just nod your head up......then back down)

this is not about fish anymore .....being a noob is his last problem...trying to get attention at all cost and refusing to take responsibility for his actions are way bigger issues.
I still can't understand why this thread is still open.....

Sorry to hear about your fish. Other members are right about the daily water changes. Sometimes a fishkeeper can mess around with the tank too much and it causes harm to the fish. Daily water changes isn't a good idea IMO. A better idea is very heavy filtration, making sure the tank has been cycled a few weeks already, and picking up any leftover food.

These baby dats are very very sensitive and most members here have probably lost a few in recent months. Just be glad some of yours are still alive and doing well considering that you just got into dats recently. If the seller gave you lots of time to inspect the fish, there's nothing you can really do about the ones that died. It'd be a lot different if he shipped them to you sick.

Good estimate.... Out by 3 months..

What do u need to go and check???? The answer is on your HEAD!!!::screwy:

Did u estimate your "perfect" tank water parameters as well?

I think there is plenty of proof now that "me selling diseased fish" isnt why they died. I have a tank full of healthy dats, and polys are 100x more hardy then baby dats. I actualy think dats are more sensative then small tigs !
Im sorry for your loss David
i think there was enough info given here mods mite as well close it
