Any cichlid pellets out their that increase growth rate u would recomend for young red devils.I hear cichlid bio gold increases cichlid growth rapidly.

1 cm in 3 days? Thats 4 inches a month. Show some pictures next to a ruler and I will believe you.

Feeding food with lots of protein is best. Omega one or hikari cichlid pellets, along with frozen/FD is good. Live worms, crickets, etc will be happily consumed.

i used tetra prima for my GT, packed on about an inch, possibly a bit more, a month and for what i hear about saums thats quite good, he slowed at around 5-6" though. feed 3 times daily with staple pellet in morning, lunch is blood worm and evening is algae wafers and/or cichlid mix and 2 weeks a month live crickets in the afternoon.
water changes twice a week due to the higher protein levels creating much more waste.

The more protein, the more of a growth food it is. most pellets will have around 35-45% protein. many flowerhorn specialist's use special formulated pellets with 55% or so protein.

You need much more than just food for good growth rate though.

1. Filtration- clean water, a must
2. Tank matenince^ a Duh along with number 1
3. Tank size, bigger the better
4. Varied diet you can't go with just a staple. You should have a meatier suplement aswell. along with multiple types of pellets.

But with increased speed of growth, the less time for full develpment of features the fish has, so it won't look as good as an adult. More drab colors will occor. Give your fish time to mature.

Powerfeeding is only good for farm rasied food fish.
