Does it look like the lumps in this scientific article? If so, the scientists had injected gram negative bacteria, and it caused ulcers to eventually show on the lung's skin.

Great find, Rocksor. You blew me away with this find too! But Russ, the growths on the lung in the article have a reddened base and surrounding areas, a strong sign of inflammation underneath. From your photos, I don't see that. Perhaps you do by naked eye.
On another note, IDK if it matters or not, but I remembered that warts in humans had been thought to be caused by a virus. Again, I don't know if this is still status quo on this disease nowadays.
