Cool ,I just watched it, I was watching the PAcman fight so I missed UFC. Wow, is all I can say Matt Hughes was completly dominated by GSP!!! The same as Morales and PAcman. Two great champions have fallen to two HUngry young champions, it was a changing of the guard, however I am still pleased because we can't ask for better fighters to take over than those two! The ufc is changing and to me it's becoming a bit more like Pride, the faster aggresive strikers with great takedown defense are taking over. I feel that it's bringing new life and excitement to the sport, I think that fighters started standing more because they were "encouraged" by the UFC and fans to have more exciting stand up battles because the fighters are aware that if you put on a great stand up match you have a much greater chance of being asked to return even if you lose, where the guys who may win ect. that just roll around on the ground may not be as popular and not asked back as often? I wanted Matt to win but I am satisfied with the fight, I had a feeling GSP would take over the belt soon. It was a fair and honest victory (even with the nut shots! ) Hopefully the belts seem to be in good hands. This is just the nature of combat sports, lets gracefully make way for the new generation.

holy ****, the whole thing is on google video, 26 minutes, im outta here

haha yeah that would be incredible... Any of Pride's top HW's would have a field day with him. I don't think they'd ever let Fedor go, but there was a rumor a week or two ago about the UFC signing a multifight deal with Aleks. I'd love to see him just tear through the UFC HW's.

Yeah, it would be nice. I think Brandon "The Truth" Vera has a good chance at messin up Silvia. I hope someone does. Silvia is obviously good, he beats up everyone he fights. But if you ask me it always turns into a ****ty boxing match. That dude is just too long.

wow, just watched the fight, rewatched part of it, it was all gsp, two nut shots in the first made matt kinda paranoid of his kicks i think, but still gsp brought his A game and i dont think they were intentional, total domination, i dont think gsp even took a direct hit, scrambled out of two of matt take downs, wow, go to google video search and put in UFC 65

oh yea, bell saved matt at end of first, he appeared to be pretty rocked

I wasnt' able to watch !! BOut I was so happy LOL... Guess he'd have to stay awake if he intended on teacheing GSP to get out of an arm bar huh LOL... My frined wouldn't even tell me who won he was pissed.. Everbody loses.... even if it is just once... One mistake and thats all it takes..

Still the most dominating champ of that weight right? And probably will be for a very long time... 42-5 way... I cannot wait to see it :D

... WAS the most dominating ww champ. He's still one of my favorite all time fighters, but his reign is over. IMO, he's the #3 ww now, behind GSP and BJ. They are both way beyond Matt in skill, and I think that if BJ comes in conditioned, he would beat Matt again. GSP is just on another level right now, and I dont think there's a ww out there that can beat him. A rematch with Matt would probably end the same way.

For sure... GSP and Fedor are hands down my favorites to watch too. Had to support Matt last night cuz he's from the home state and for his heart and legacy.
