Thanks

What is the diff from the male??

Male's are brighter and lighter in coloration. More like a metallic sheen persay. Their dorsal and anal fins are also pointed. A female's dorsal and anal fin isn't pointed and rather round.

It's not effective to judge by head shape since most if not all gt's look different. I've seen female green terrors w/ big heads. Also, you can't tell by "nuchal humps" since many full grown male green terrors don't even get nuchal humps.

This video of green terrors breeding might help you. The smaller one is the female. Notice the color of the body and the fin shape compared to the male?

Hope this helps.

Female.

Much like Dempsey's, the marking's on a female's gill plate will appear smudged.

it is a female but I've seen males w/ smudged gill plates as well.

(better picture quality) Sorry I dont have a better camera if you can tell the difference from the top pictures and the bottom one. The bottom one was taken from my camera and the others were from a borrowed one.

Wont be any better quality

(full profile) How much fuller profile do you need than the bottom pic?

(Age/Size) Age??? I have had it for 3 months I think Size 4-5 in

(lighting) I dont know? it is a long tube fluorescent maybe???

i think the consensus was female. the reason why i asked for a better angle/picture was to look at the fins.
i have two gts that are a lil smaller than yours, and one is more colorful, and has longer/pointier fins- but both looked identical at one point. anyways, we'll be a lot longer til they develop mature colors.
good luck and enjoy your gt.
