GT & Gold/White Saum pic thread

Hey there,
I'm new here!

I have a pair of GTs, 7.5" male about 13 months old and 6" female near 2 years old.

Thank you. He actually sits still pretty well. Not particularly skittish. He is getting significantly more aggressive in recent weeks. I guess the discussion that'd been going on that they were less aggressive then the saums might be going out the window.

mine have been getting noticeably less skittish in the larger tank. aggression between fish is minimal. my big male is pimping 2 females at the moment and they will chase others away from their respective areas, but thats about it.

mine are camera shy. i can sit there all day, doing whatever and they wont run off. but the minute the camera comes out, they hide. until the food hits the water, then game on

Try sitting there with the camera in your hand so they get used to it.

very true. since "giving" them a 210 to play in, they have responded much better to my presence. here are some yesterdays pics, with the room lights on and me not hiding in the dark. notice whats all over the rock in pic #1

was checking on the eggs this morning and they have already hatched. the fry are hiding in a nook the female dug next to a rock. they didnt like me sticking my head close to the fry. some true terror like behavior captured on video. enjoy!
