Im going through the same thing at the moment. Im tring garlic. I lost a monster GT in the past to the same thing, it seems to happen often with them.
GT has white poop!

My GT had it, I treated with Prazi-pro as per directions and it cleared up. He was still eating so I soaked a couple of pellets in it and he ate them. I wasn't sure if he would but I fugered at least if he mouthed them it might help. It cleared up in about three days. Do a big water change before starting treatment. GL
try some epson salt and jungle parasite clear for internal external parasites its the cheap and a effective way... its worked every time i had the internal parasite problem... also it coul be bloat if u feed the gt to much protien they need a asourted diet more on the veggie side...
Garlic does create an internal enviorment that parasites don't find comfortable.
I'd treat with prazzi pro or jungle parasite clear - I'd not quanrentine but treat the main tank as the white poop might contain cists/eggs that may have already infected the rest of the fish. Also I'd throw away any type of cloth media as the cists may have attatched themselves to it which might lead to re-infection.

My Oscar gets white stringy poop if I feed him too much Krill. I figure its probably just too much protein compared to his normal Diet. I would think this is the same thing for you too, except your GT isn't eating. I hope its not parasites.
