try the epson salt my mota had that same prob cause i over fed him . its worth a shot u can get it at a cvs or malmart........ also what did u feed him....
cut down on feeding the last 2 days and added epson salt after water change..so far spitting food out still,but more active.no poop at all today..so just wait and see,im also going to add more green to his diet.
My male convict has this white stringy poop. Although I feed him and he ate fine. I just got him tonight at 5:30PM pacific time. I picked him up from the LFS (was looking for a mate for my female) and when I took him out of the bag I noticed the poop hanging and didn't think anything about it at first because I figured he was a new fish was just nervous. After a couple of hour I started to think maybe something was wrong.
What should I do wait a little while to see if it falls off or should I start treatment right away?
I have 2 green terrors and both went through the stringy poop stage because they were being picky eaters, but now I have them eating mainly cichlid bio gold sinking pellets and the stringy poop has gone.
