Yes I agree. If you want larger cichlids its best to start with 100 gal. or larger. I house several different types of cichlids in my 190 gal. with no problems. I have a 6" green terror, 8" gold severum, 6" texas, 4" blood jewell, 6" blue frontosa, 8" polleni sp, 4" red severum, and yes a 4" red frontosa.

I agree with the frontosa suggestion.

I have had most of my fish for over a year. other than the frontosas, I have learned how to balance the ph to acommidate all the fish. I did have problems at first. but i also have a 125 gal. for the africans, but now its being used by my highly agressive nyeries for mating. As soon as thats done everyone will return to their rightfull home. I appreciate your concern.

it is possible to keep them together, i know that but im just warning you with concern, someday you might turn the lights on asnd see a beautiful fish dead

I do understand, and I do keep a close eye on all, no problems yet, the only problem I had was with my red terror, but I gave him to a friend of mine. And right now my nyeries will kill anything in the tank with them. The butt-heads have killed 2 plecos, 1 was a large bushy nose. go figure

I have two female convicts with my GT in a 55g ... everything is good
