Here is my guy, about 8 inches and hes about 1.5 yrs old. Can anyone see a hump starting or no? He is in 130g now with a convict that is about 2.5 inches, i want him to get bigger and fill out, and a hump would be sweet!

i just bought 2 GT's the other day about 2.5 inches in length i walked into my local pet shop and walk by and didnt notice at first but one had a rather large hump on his forehead im thinking that he will grow to a nice male

They CAN loose their hump. I put a 4-5 inch male that had a nice hump in with my other bigger male, and the smaller one lost its hump in 24 hrs!

in the temporary tank im using a aqua-glo bulb not to sure how i want to set up the main tank for him

ok soo those 2 GT's i bought about 2 weeks ago , one laid eggs i think the parents are both the GT's unless one of the convicts they are temporally with paired up with the GT??? the GT is guarding the eggs soo im sure shes the mother
