GT's usually get pretty large befor developing a kok. Most Gt have to be from good breeders to get large kok. You can find good ones here and there but this looks like he will be a nice male.jdm_da510;4313558; said:
yeah looks like a male, and yeah some GT's take awhile to develop NUCHAL HUMPS so yours could just be a slow grower and usually only specially bred lines will develop large ones, normally GTs nuchal humps aren't that large like a midas or something
and we aren't talking about flowerhorns where for some reason people are obsessed about comparing their "kok" sizes, these are naturally occurring fish where most are happy to just see their amazing colors

yeah he can, mine bred at like 3.5in but i would advise holding off on it for the female's sake because she will practically stop growing at whatever size she first breeds
