GTs in 150

So I have a 150 gallon tank and I am between a GT tank or an Angelfish tank...

So I am wondering:

How many GTs would go in the tank.
Tank mates for the GTs.
Anything special about GTs.
Max size of GT.

Would GTs live with a BGK?

Also plecos for tankmates?

I think a group of 1 male, 3-4 females, would probably work fine in a 150. Make sure to have plenty of breaks in sight and places for females to retreat. A breeding pair of GT's may attack the knife, hard to say for sure. Tank mates, I would just do some large dither fish. Max size about 12" eventually.

I would suggest 1 male and 3 females. For dithers I would recommend a group of hoplo catfish, they worked very well with my gt harem.
Also agree with Gourami keep the tank well decorated with line of sight breaks and hiding spots for subdominant females.

Bristle nose should be fine if you add them at a decent size and the gt's are small.
I have known gt's eat decent sized bleeding heart tetras so I would tread with caution with the Congo tetra.
Pimelodus blochii also made good tank mates for me.
