Guess the poly (oh no not this again)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It"s been around for a long time, but seldomly marketed. As stated, it's a collection locale for these western lapradei. There's a good handful of them. Just as Endlis. In short, Sakarani are similar to Faranah lapradei. :--)
Yeah. Earl was probably the first one in the hobby that I remember who called one of his western lapradei "sankarani" (Maybe 2008). The term "tinkinso guinean lap" recently came back too in Singapore. But to me they also look like the Sankarani and Faranah. :p

Wow! Polys are stunning!

Just a suggestion for the heavy green tones from your LED lighting or bulb. It's probably a 10,000K white. Makes all your expensive polys all green. If you add a cheap a adjustable RGB (red, blue, green) led kit from China. U can highlight in pictures and in person their natural color. ;--)

Yessss i was wondering why my polys display green tones in my pics! Thanks man. By adding do you mean replacing the 10000k white, or adding another lightset on top of the existing LEDs?

Up to u. U can add a color changing RGB led light fixture, or sell your current one. Having a system that allows u to adjust intensity for all the white, red, green, & blues by remote control is superbly convenient. :--) just an example below as there are many types of fixtures we can get here in the U.S. Almost all are a China made product.

Do the polys like the other colors better than all white? Will they show more distinct patterns and hues with RBG? Also is this suitable for plants?

This reminds me I still need to set up my LED strip light. 2 years later lol
