Largemouths arent even native fish they were introduced in the late 1800's. In the southern states they get much bigger because of the climate
The MA record is about 15 lbs but the state pin is 7 lbs

Well the MA record is the largest bass caught in Massachusetts
A state pin is any LM bass over 7lbs. They give you a little pin for your hat or something. I dont know if all the states have the pins
I figure if CA had a state pin it would be around 12-13 lbs? maybe?
