that looks like a black skirt tetra in pic #4, is it?

Thanks guys, and yes that is a black skirt tetra. Orginally bought 5 of them as feeders for the knife but luckly that one survived and shoals with the silverdollars.

wow, they really are nice but ordinary sd's? isn't it quite pricey?

They are not the ordinary silverdollars... their Metynnis Hypsaychen wc (wild caught). Rare to find wc sds... worth the money.

It's kind of cool to have F0 SD's but for as much as they cost, I'd want somthing that stands out. Those look like any other SD imho. (sorry to sound negative)

I can see where your coming from. Metynnis Hypsaychen look just like Metynnis Argenteus. The only difference in fact is the orange fins and black spots. Argenteus will just have an orange anual fin and get to 5''-6''. Hypsaychen will get black spots, orange all over fins and grow 6-8''. They are rare and quite pricey. They are very sought after for their color and are thought to be aggressive, but mine only chase the Argenteus.
