any other members keeping a Blue tongue?
That's really a cool choice, I didn't know you guys could buy them as pets. They are quite common in the wild here, I often see them sitting in the sun on the side of the road when I'm driving in the country, sadly you see a lot squashed too where they venture too far onto the road..
I've never kept one long term. when we were kids we would catch one and keep it for the summer in the old chicken coop. I fed them snails and eggs but not sure if that's a good. Long term diet. As they were outside they would eat bugs and things too. We always let them go when the weather cooled down so they could find somewhere to hibernate for winter.
