Wayne is correct

Yours is an American native, the cricket frog (Genus Acris), I am almost positive it is the northern species (crepitans), and from the number of warts and the brightness of the color on it's head and back probably not the coastal or eastern subspecies so I will guess the Blanchard's cricket frog (Acris crepitans blanchardi).

Rufous-beaked_snake-by_John_White.jpg

Rhamphiophis oxyrhynchus.jpg

I was not able to find much on this one, It is the rufous-beaked snake of Eastern Africa, primarily Sudan and Ethiopia, reaching 63 1/2" long. It is a venomous rearfanged snake for which antivenom is made but seldom needed. It's binomial is (Rhamphiophis oxyrhynchus) and the picture is by John White.

I am having difficulty loading pictures right now so how about we have Small Guy post one instead?

Small Guy,
