Guess what kind of Reptile

I saw several in kenya/tanzania/egypt
they're weird-their body is so thick but so short

The Louisiana Pine Snake (Pituophis melanoleucus ruthveni). Did some tromping aeround where it is from and never saw one, I have seen the Northern but it has a different pattern.

Ring-necked snake (Diadophis puctatus) probably either the northern (edwardsii) or more likely the southern (punctatus) subspecies.

I Believe it may be Chalcides ocellatus, Ocellated Skink
or Barrel Skink native to the islands off the west coast of Italy.
