I'm not really sure a Curio and relic like a Golden gun would be all that great for home defense... Hell the aluminum build of the whole gun still just scares the crap out of me. Stock is scary too with how flimsy it is.
Operation of the gun it self is interesting and a bit curious and interestingly is similar kind of sort of.. to how the russian An-94 assault rifle functions. (Aside from the rotating stoner / johnson type bolt).
Not very many of these shotguns where made (2000 or less) as they where really impractical as a field or skeet gun. They only were about 6 pounds loaded and crazy weird / scary to shoot. Being primarily a skeet gun they also only had a two round magazine making them not all that versatile.
I like a handgun get a Ruger P95/DC - 9 mm .. Its a big bulky intimidating pistol with 10 shots as fast as you can shoot them ..you can get a new one for around $200 and there a totally reliable weapon. With some heavy grain hollow points it hits pretty hard..
^ I have the same one. You should pic up a 30 round mag before you can't get them anymore. Just for the hell of it!
