lol i hope i don't lose any! my BGK is only 8 cm in length, i got three weeks ago, he is in quarantine. funnily enough, he also enjoys catfish JMC pellets! the female guppy is breathing really fast now, and really hard. i wish that male would leave her alone

I have found that if a male knows he'll be harrassing until he gets his meal hehe Have you tried the search function? There are some more threads about guppy breeding.

usually you should litterally be able to see little eyes around the anul area black in colour!!!
if you do deside to trap her ensure you have floating plants or plastic plants in with her as SHE will also try to eat the fry!!!
Females are ment to exscreat a chemical wilst dropping babies which is ment to make her think shes full but this doesnt always seem to work!!!
The babies can eat finely crushed flake food from day one and they grow quite rapidly, just remember you might have to do some culling<which means you have to remove the ones which look deformed<nature will do this in the wild>just drop them into the angel tank<snack

i tried to put her in that breeding thing, but she was getting really fraustrated and the male was looking at her inside it...she was looking back....couldn't take any more had to move her back out then she calmed down. yeah i can see things that look like eggs inside her. i have this tetramin baby food that i can feed, i am just trying to revise on my bed besides the tank so i can keep an eye on her. yeah, the male keeps on pecking at her stomach, i have loads of plants in the tanks. hopefully if i miss any fry they will be able to hide.
i hope i see some fry! i've never bred anything before, but now i really want to. she just hovers at the surface., breathing hard. i think i can see the eyes of the fry inside. it looks like reallllllllllllly small black dots - like black pepper crushed size!lol..
