wouldn't it be easier to purchase something like this off ebay.

Since when does DIY = BUY ?

Wouldn't it be easier to go to the aquarium & see the fish there?
Wouldn't it be easier to have a driver take you there?
Wouldn't it be easier to go out to dinner after?

Wouldn't it be nicer to show off your tanks?
Wouldn't it be nicer to take a drive?
Wouldn't it be nicer to have a quiet dinner at home?

Wouldn't it be easier to realize it not just about a wall tank, but the pride of the project?

over flow at the top & an anti siphon hole in the return (at top).. turn off the pump & the system will rest, not empty. The water in the tank will drop 1/4 to 1/2 inch & the Filter will rise the same.

if you do a wall mount rather than in the headboard then the bed won't move the tank.

I had made a tank headboard 20 years ago. just never attached it to the bed, it was free-standing.

OK, for some reason I thiught out from tank was coming from bottom of tank (see my problem).

Headboard a problem, can't mount to wall, rental place. Guess it goes on the dresser for now. He's earning it tho.
