Thanks you guys for all the help (: I am trying to find an enclosure for Gus but it's a lot harder than it looks lol i like the room idea, I would do that in my room but the big fish tank is in there. Also i am feeding him scrambled eggs, sometimes mice and canned tuna all with calcium powder, is this a good diet for him or should I change anything.

Yeah..mines currently in a 6'x2' tank but hes been extremely active lately and I've decided I need to get his larger cage done soon as well as an outdoor enclosure for more exercise which I can't wait to do..

Def not an ideal diet so for sure check out the link from F1. I would only give eggs as an occasional treat. Honestly i really urge you to look into ordering from hare-today.com. They sell whole ground meats with the bones, organs etc. so its pretty close to whole prey(mine likes rabbit and any of the birds-the ground quail is disgusting though just fyi). You can also order day old quail which they like. If you have no other option right now id feed mostly mice and maybe get on tegutalk.com and check out the turkey mixture that some people use(ill try to find it and post a link) and use that too. Id also cut back on the tuna, you could try f/t fish filets if you wanted. Columbians tend to basically be meat eaters and while you can try if you want most wont eat fruits/veggies like an argentine, mine doesnt.

Thank you guys for the links lol I do not no what the previous owner was feeding him because he was a trade in. Also can we have a meat grinder so can we just grind our own? Could we also mix some fruit into his eggs, meat etc?

So youre going to throw a whole rabbit, chicken etc.. into your meat grinder? I think thats gross but hey whatever if thats what you wanna do. In my opinion feeding what i told you and offering stuff from the lists on the links is the best way to go but its all up to you. I would skip beef though as it seems to upset their stomach(nasty runny poo). You can try to mix in fruit if you want but as i said its not really necessary and he may not eat the food thats given but again you can try. I would still cut back on eggs though, theyre not really healthy for them as a main food source..

+1 eggs shouldnt be fed regularly. Imagine their natural diet. They only rarely stumble across some eggs.

Ok thanks lol I didn't think about whole rabbits in the meat grinder lol. Could I mix ground turkey from the super market with organs like livers hearts etc?
