And since you’re new, fish don’t have to be rare, I’d think you’d find growing a pair of convicts to maturity and watching them spawn and breed would be incredibly interesting and only cost around $10 and could live in there for life. You could do things like make a badass scape and play with lighting to get shimmer effects etc…The sources I've used are reputable, and most of them don't sell stuff, they are written for the sake of knowledge, not for sales, and those I listen to the most. Yeah, being adorable and reasonably priced are bad excuses.
I haven't refused to listen to you, I'm seriously considering getting rid of it. The "not discouraging" ship has sailed, though...
I think this is practically hopeless at this point. I want way more than I 1. can afford and 2. I have the space for. I just wish I didn't have rare/cool taste, as that drives me with this hobby and many other hobbies. I want the rarest/coolest fish I can get, but then again, 90% of those fish are 10 times the size of my tank. The worst part is, that I know and can help other people decide on what fish to get, but I can't decide or know what I want or what is appropriate for my tank.
Like I said before, I will sleep on it, think about it further, and decide tomorrow. I'm going to the fish store tomorrow again anyway.
I think you’re focusing too much on what’s considered rare and cool
