I just got these swords. I got 5 plants about 12-14" tall out of this mother plant. Place must be in Cal. I always get in 2 days.

I have drift wood soaking for this tank because it just looks so damn empty now and I realized that this tank is almost exclusively bottom dwellers (polys ropes cats loaches) I'm gonna order a dozen praecox rainbow fish for mid level action
All I do is add liquid fert. and sometimes liquid CO2. No CO2 systems for me. You can prune dead leaves or not. They do sometimes clog the weir. I just mop it off or grab the stuff.

I rent so the biggest tank I can run here is 125 maybe 150-180 (125 being more likely because 1. Cheaper and 2. More readily available) but someday I plan on having one just not yet I could get some huejta gars but that isn't quite the same thing

I am sort of in similar situation as I live in a condo. No basement fish room for me. I'm still dealing with tanks not being large enough but life goes on. Think those Florida gars grow pretty big.No
