Got a group (8) of juvie G. balzani a few weeks ago from Ken (aka fishfarmusa). They are growing nicely and the biggest one (dominant male??) is getting a tinny little hump. A few of them are showing some yellow colors (hopefully females).

I don't know why but I just feel that they are cuter than other Gymnos and Geos :) Hope they'll be "square" soon.

Sorry about the dirty glass...

Absolutely lovely. Are those true parrots as well? Or rotkeil Severums?

Very Nice! Tankmates? Did you give them a cool down yet? What is your temp? They look fantastic!

Yeah I worry about that too. Will chill them next winter (hope it's not too late!).

It's mostly a wimpy SA tank (220g) with severums, H. psittacus, a pair of WC Gymno sarandi and a few other fish.

Nicest stocking for a SA cichlid-only tank ever.

And I have four leucostictas in a 55...

I don't think so but thanks!

I love Satanoperca too! My two jurupari (in another tank) are so fat that I bet if I make a transverse section, they'll be triangular...
