Hi again... I vote for pool filter sand.. That's all I use in my tanks... It loks good wet, is inexpensive and very clean and has a good size grain.. The eartheaters love it. You can get it at most Ace Hardware Stores as well.. If you check my thread Sue's geo/angel tank (I think it got moved to media) you can see how it looks. I add a few bits of natural gravel here and there to make it look even more natural.. Good luck with the tank and pics please as it progresses... Sue
the second pic looks just like a Buenos Aires Tetra and I'm about 95% sure that it is. Also Sean as you can see that get a bit bigger then most other Tetras.
