Good Job with the little Guy! You should also take pride that Your Thread Produced a Medical term that will Live with MFK forever. "Meat Flaps" will Now serve as the proper vernacular whenever one speaks of an injured fish. And/or whenever euthanasia is mentioned... May the little "Little Stubborn Oscar That Could" serve as a case study.

Yeah he's been eating fine. By the way does anybody know how to ween him off flakes and onto pellets? I threw some in n he almost ate one but then just left it there.

Starve him, then throw in pellets.

That said, this may not be the best time to starve him given that he's trying to recover. xD The other choice is to mix in pellets and flakes and hope for the best. :/
