What you have to keep in mind is a lot of people use stencils and pretend they carved it free hand. IMO doesn't really count when you cheat like that.

I agree. I also tend to not be as amazed when people use electric hand tools like dremels and drills and things like that. true skill is with knives and saws imo. although the people using electric tools are talented I find it more amazing when someone does it without the help of electric tools

I think he meant stencils that people buy. I also make my own stencils when doing a pumpkin

He does Have a point though my index fingers are hurting and using cut-outs is kind of cheating tracing(wife lol)
cant wait till I'm done though it'll be worth it will post when done with my 2nd one :)
