I finally got my bgk eating out of my hand the other day using bloodworms. I'm more nervous when my clown loaches eat from my hand than my bgk. My knife was actually very gentle when it came up to me. He just knew what he wanted and even begged for more after he downed the whole cube.

mine is new to his tank, and quite small. I've heard they can be hand feed, but my tire track eels are already trained to do so, doubt mine would ever come to my hand with those two crowding it.
I started by holding an earthworm worm next to her hideout with the lights off. Next time with lights on. Next time i held it half way up to top. Next time at top. Now she swims and comes to top when people are near tank with lights on. When hungry sticks her head out of the water looking for earthworms.
