I'm likin' that leaf fish, too.okay so i just read this post today and honestly, ive never hand feed my fire eel before. so i tried it the 1st time with my frozen bloodworms (cube). i took one and brought it down. the 1st time it was hard cause its not exactly easy holding clump bloodworms together in water hahahah but the second time, i was able to hold it firmly and brought it down and brought it close to my fire eel's face. he wasn't afraid and started to eat out of my hand so i slowly moved it and he started to follow me. it felt a bit weird when he was touching my fingers, but in the end. the experience was amazing and he's only 10 inches and i got him as a birthday present

hey guys i have 2 fire eels at 15-17" only got them a month ago 1 eats from my fingers the other one only eats at night without ppl around but i also have a tt eel at 12" and fat!!!! he will also eat from my fingers my tt only became social once he reached 10" both are very cool im glad i have both as the fires have bright colors but the tt looks like a snake which is cool !!!!!!
