I had a festae, melanurus and a few others that I recently traded. They were too aggressive. The ones in this tank are kind of common though, but my JD is the nicest one I have ever seen in a LFS. I had never really wanted a JD, but he was just too amazing.

if you wanted to you could do a mix like salvini and cons and some larger africans. if you want both then go for it.
Go for the mobas! They are super nice and you can't resist the blue!!! 
As said, they would look much nicer then your current fish and would take your tank to the next level.
