Hartwegi

Here's my Hartwegi, or what I believe is a Hartwegi. One of the most aggressive in my tank and he/she had changed color the most. Can't wait for it to get fully colored.

Looks more like the calico strain of V. fenestratum (Lago Catemaco) to me. I'm not aware of a calico hartwegi. Nice fish in any case.

That was always my debate, whether it was a fen or a Hartwegi, but a great fish nonetheless. Lol

I'll look through pictures of fenestratus and then Hartwegi and I'll some in each that look like my fish but now that he's getting older and me looking through it again I'm beginning to think he's a fenestratus.

hartwegi do not fade... the only paratheraps/ paraneetropolus/ vieja whatever they are classified as now that fades is fenestratus
