i recently got 6 ABF at my LFS for $1.99(what a steal:nilly:) each and was wondering if anyone has ever got them to breed in captivity i also was wondering if they were related to arowanas they look and act alot like then just with bigger fins and way smaller oh and one more thing where do they originate from ?

i have two ive had for about two months,so no breeding..i read that the males anal fin becomes tube like and is inserted into the female she lays later and the eggs float. and about the arrowanna question from what a researched they are in a family of theyre own....so theyre not related to anything else
