Has anyone ever fed their fish people food?

Some of my fish like when I drop a few spaghetti noodles in the tank,without the sauce of course.They must think that it's worms.
 
my buddy gave me a 5 inch jack dempsey in a 10 gallon tank that grew up on nothing but hot dogs lol poor fish had it rough from the start but ive never seen such nice colours on a JD before
 
yes i was feeding my Piranhas steak and all the fat gummed every thing up i would say if you have to do uncooked ham
 
as a kid i fed some crumbled cooked hamburger meat, also potato chips.

i would cook meat from land animals, hot dogs come precooked.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback, I had thrown in some hot dogs and my bass ate them up but then i got worried it would be bad for them, now I don't need my garbage disposal lol, I wont rely on these foods but itll be nice to be able to vary up my feedings
 
Hmm, interesting.. I never fed chicken, hot dog or such to my fish before for fear of digestion problem.. After reading this thread, it probably isn't that bad.. just look at that arapaima eating away happily.. lol

Thats really odd if you are not joking.Which of your fish eat these?My mother told me that when I was about years old we had a little tank and on this hot summer day I was given some ice cream and I put some of it in the tank for the fish to eat.
