one of my friends had one escape and it made it across the house and he found it dead in the garage a few years later. another of my firends wanted a blue ringed octopus until he found out if it bites you, you should just get comfortable and wait a few minutes and die. doesnt really sound too fun to me. the thought of either having an octopus touch me when i was sitting on my couch, or being bitten and knowing there was nothing to do but die, im all set
