Wow! How'd you train your fish to be handeable? And wearing sunglasses?

I am not sure to be honest. It must be something unique to Pastorius romanius. Hence this thread to shed some light on this unique species of fish. The only advise from personal experience I can share is to give it a good rub behind the gills and belly area....It helps them settle...

The sunglasses are because I bought some very bright LED lights this summer and I didn't want him to get startled from the light reflections.

Fish out of water. My cat fish prefers swimming rather than being on a wake surf board.

This cat fish preferred the boat to the board.

This was the first time this cat fish went wake surfing

When the air temperature is 100 - 115 degrees, the cats get overheated and very lethargic. Swimming in the lake is the quickest and best way to cool them down. After swimming, they can have a nice nap.

Yes, of course...I would never have thought otherwise. It's a catfish :uhoh:
I've kept catfish before myself. Mine loved frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp and would often sneak out of his tank to steal them while I was defrosting them for his room mates.

I need one of these? Minimum tank size and water params?

They prefer their water fishy....:grinyes: Tank wise, the depth is more important than the length. They tend to swim upwards. Refer to post #17 for more details.

Driftwood is also compulsory to their well being, specifically if you keep Perch catfish.
