Iv`v seen breeding behavior before with lots of diging etc. with prolonged eggtube on female, but this is the first time i seen them spawning.. They egg cluster is in a dark spot of the tank so sadly i cannot take a picture. I hope to get free swimmers so i get some undisputabel proof later.. Maybe after the weekend!?

I can se the female now without the breeding dress and I think my attempts to photograph the eggs disturbed them too mutch.. Appologies fpr the commotion for no hard proof (did se the spawning but..)
Just to give you guys oversea a heads up that Kullander has just classified the ones we have in scandinavia as ex. Cichlasoma gephyrum
