I'm not sure where they are from, didn't ask. Way out of my price range lol So I didn't bother to probe too much. They just look so out of this world to me.

SHARK13 SHARK13 you're right about the export ban from Brazil. I asked my supplier and he said most stingrays are first transferred to Columbia or Paraguay to bypass the export ban and then shipped over here. The fish must have gone through a lot to make it into the tanks of MFKers.

If by transferred you mean smuggled... lol
Gone through alot and lived to make it to a tank. Lol exceptionally rare species... Only a few worldwide.
 
Hopefully someday the ban will be lifted or at least they get on a quota system.
